A native of the Yarra Valley, Kristy Burrows has practiced law in Mooroolbark for 11 years, servicing the outer eastern suburbs and the Yarra Valley area. She completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB honours) in 2004. Prior to her legal career, Kristy worked in the real estate industry with Methven Professionals Real Estate for six years. Her extensive experience has given her strong expertise in Commercial & Business Law, Property Law, Estate Planning and Retirement & Aged Care.
Kristy is very relationship focused. She prides herself on establishing and maintaining strong ongoing relationships with clients. Excellent customer service and reliability is a high priority in her work. She is approachable, down to earth, reliable and trustworthy. Kristy loves the law and has since she discovered the subject in year 9!
Proudly, Kristy’s family has a long history in the area, dating back to her great grandmother, who served as the Launching Place station mistress when the train travelled through the Upper Yarra Valley. Kristy continues her family’s long tradition of community involvement through her participation in the Upper Yarra Netball Association and the Yarra Junction & Wandin Football Netball Club. She also served on the board of Melba Support Services Inc for seven years, serving as Vice President for three years.
Having worked in Mooroolbark for over 17 years, Kristy has a strong connection with the Mooroolbark community and its business owners. As the Secretary of the Mooroolbark Traders and Community Group Kristy enjoys making a contribution to foster growing community spirit, connect with other traders within the community and encourage partnership in community initiatives.
Kristy lives in the Yarra Valley with her partner of 16 years and their two young sons.

Completing an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Conveyancing) in 2010 and having worked both in a legal secretarial support role for over 5 years as well as in Bookkeeping and Accounts Manager positions previously, Belinda’s wealth of knowledge is an asset to her clients.
Belinda is driven by a passion and commitment that is evidenced not just in her work but also in her personal life. Having lived locally with her family for the last 16 years, Belinda is very active within the community holding various voluntary roles with Mooroolbark Auskick, Mooroolbark Junior Football Club, Saints Junior Basketball and at her children’s primary school.

An experienced legal secretary, Rebecca Crellin provides legal and administrative support to the team.
Having worked with Kristy for a number of years, Rebecca offers a familiarity that is so important to clients when accessing legal advice and services and has built strong relationships with the Yarra Ranges client base.
Involved with Wandin Football and Netball Club, playing netball and holding voluntary positions on the committee, Rebecca is entrenched in the local community. A resident of the Yarra Valley her whole life, Rebecca lives locally with her husband and 2 young children.

As the civil litigator and estate planning solicitor at Yarra Ranges Lawyers, Natalie has a background in the areas of family law, wills, estate law, civil litigation and commercial law.
Natalie’s experience and legal knowledge make her a skilled and effective civil litigator with a proven track record in problem solving, dispute resolution, debt recovery, commercial matters and contested wills and estates.
Passionate about supporting people to clearly outline the legacy they wish to leave, Natalie provides expert advice and services to Yarra Ranges Lawyers clients on protecting and documenting their testamentary wishes, ensuring their voice is still heard into the later years.
Natalie is highly organised and her methodical approach to work sees her deliver an excellent experience to her clients, every time.
Born and raised in the Yarra Valley, Natalie lives with her husband of 10 years and spends her weekends supporting him in their event services and hire business.
Building the teams’ expertise in leasing, and general and commercial property, Liz joined Yarra Ranges Lawyers in early 2017, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Liz’s vast experience includes retail leasing throughout Australia, working with local government on commercial advisory teams, business acquisitions and sales, liquor licensing, crown leasing, water law, local law amendments, commercial property transfers, boundary realignment and general leasing.
Having worked across many jurisdictions, Liz has been a Company Secretary and General In-house Counsel, providing board advice and reporting to the Chairperson, CEO and CFO. In this role Liz provided general advice, board papers, local government, property and commercial work.
Driven by a passion for resolving problems for people, Liz works to get the best results for her clients.
Living locally, Liz loves spending time with her family and supporting her children in their after school activities, which include dancing and basketball.
Delivering excellent service to her clients, backed by more than 30 years’ experience, Glenda’s broad range of skills combined with her ‘old school approach’ has made her an asset to the Yarra Ranges Lawyers team.
Glenda has seen significant changes within the industry over the years, and in fact, in how people access legal services. However her commitment to good old-fashioned etiquette, and her thorough approach and attention to detail, have ensured she continues to make property transactions a smooth, stress free process for her clients.
In her spare time, Glenda enjoys gardening and reading.
Reception / Accounts Manager
Having spent her whole career in the legal industry, Leanne has a wealth of experience and is passionate about delivering traditional customer service to our clients. She carries out her duties meticulously, particularly in relation to the management of the monies which are being held in our firm’s trust account on behalf of our clients.
Leanne has worked in Mooroolbark for many years, during that time forming wonderful relationships with our clients and business colleagues who regard her highly.
You can often find Leanne at a local football match and she loves regularly walking her dogs.
